Kevin Brunner is a
minister of the Community of Christ. He was assigned as the Interim Lamoni
Heartland Mission Center president effective June 1, 2007. He currently
teaches Information Technology and Coaches the Golf Team at Graceland
University. Prior to moving to Lamoni in 1998, he was employed as a
programmer/project leader of Cerner Corporation in Kansas City. Kevin
resided in Independence where he served on the leadership team and as pastor
for eight years at the Liberty Street Congregation. Since moving to
Lamoni, he has been involved with leadership of the Mission Center.
A native of Yuma, Colorado Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Information Systems followed by a master's degree in the same field and is currently working on his PhD.
He and his wife Heather have three children, Keeley, Tiffany, and Timothy.
Jim McKinney is a minister for the
Community of Christ. He is assigned to Lamoni Heartland USA Mission Center, as
financial officer and participant in advanced leadership studies, effective
October 1, 2003. He holds the priesthood office of bishop.
A native of Independence, Missouri, Jim currently resides in Lamoni, Iowa. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1968, followed by a Masters in business administration in 1977; both from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. Jim also attended Graceland College from 1964 through 1966. He is currently enrolled in the Community of Christ Seminary through Graceland University.
Prior to accepting full-time ministry, Jim served as Vice President for Finance and Administration/Treasurer at Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan, and as Vice President for Business Affairs and Treasurer at Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa.
Jim enjoys his grandchildren, volleyball, and MGB Restoration. He and his wife Jeannie have two children, Jim, Jr. (spouse, Jen) and Joe (spouse, Sue), and six grandchildren, Mark, Ryan, Emily, Tyler, David, and Megan McKinney.
Linda Fisher has lived in the Lamoni
area her entire life. She began working at the Lamoni Stake Office in August
1975. Linda graduated with a B.A. degree in Business Education from Graceland
College in December 1974. Linda attends the Bloomington Congregation and has
served in many roles - church school teacher, secretary, book steward, recorder.
She holds the priesthood office of Teacher. Linda and her husband, Bob, live on
the farm where she grew up.
BJ Pinsonneault came to Lamoni from
Ontario, Canada in 1992 to attend Graceland University. She graduated with a
bachelors degree in Business and Finance. BJ's pride and joy are her two
beautiful daughters, Brittany Marie and Hailey Jean. A member of the Bloomington
congregation, BJ has enjoyed her role as a Sunday School Teacher for the younger
children. BJ also enjoys her role in the community as a Girl Scout Troop Leader
and she looks forward to continuing in that service. Spending time with her
children and trips to Canada to visit her family are her favorite activities.
Delia (Dee) Jones has been a full-time
minister to youth and their parents for fifteen years. She currently serves as
the Lamoni Heartland Mission Center Children's and Youth Minister. Dee moved to
the United States from Alberta, Canada to attend Graceland University where she
obtained a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Social Studies. She met
her husband, Terry, at Graceland and they are the parents of two adult daughters
and the proud grandparents of Loralei, Christian and Owen. Dee is an ordained
Elder in the Community of Christ.
